Mason Jennings Tours With Chad VanGaalen

Singer-songwriter dude Mason Jennings gets a lot of hype from Isaac Brock and, while we usually trust dudes who front Modest Mouse, produce Wolf Parade, and have a reputation for drinking a lot, we're not totally convinced Jennings' forthcoming album for Brock's new Epic subsidiary label Glacial Pace is going to be a hit with us indie rockers.

Thankfully for all of us, Jennings will preview his new tracks on tour before we drop any hard-earned money on the album. Beginning tomorrow at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Jennings will attempt to turn a nation of bros into sensitive emo types. Sounds like we've got the next Jack Johnson on our hands.

On the stint's second date, Jennings will meet up with Sub Popper Chad VanGaalen. They will spend the next week traveling down the West Coast and talking about how cool Isaac Brock is.

Jennings' Glacial Pace album is due out this spring and, as previously reported, was recorded at Minnesota's Pachyderm Studios with producer Noah Georgeson (Joanna Newsom, Devendra Banhart).
