Pitchfork: Parts and Labor Plan New Album, Tour

After signing many, many warranties, Parts & Labor have signed a record deal. On April 11, the Brooklyn-based noize-pop band will release Stay Afraid, their first full-length since 2003. It will be a joint effort between Jagjaguwar and Oneida's new imprint, Brah Records.

Parts & Labor began a short East Coast tour yesterday, and in March, they'll head out on another trek, which will carry them all the way from NYC to SXSW and back. Their triumphant return will be heralded by a record-release show with Oneida at Northsix in Brooklyn.
