Pitchfork: Dungen, Dntel Remix Mia Doi Todd

Anyway, the latest entrant in the mix game is triply-named singer-songwriter thrush Mia Doi Todd, who plans to release a pimped-out version of her 2005 album Manzanita.

But Mia knows that times are tough and the game is rough, so you've got to set your album apart from the rest of the remix albums cluttering up record store shelves and iTunes playlists. That's why La Ninja: Amor and Other Dreams of Manzanita, due April 4 on Plug Research, will contain three brand-new songs in addition to the reconfigured Manzanita cuts. Knob-twiddling was done by the likes of Dungen, Dntel (aka Jimmy Tamborello of the Postal Service), and Adventure Time (aka Daedelus and Frosty).
