Pitchfork: Wolf Eyes to Tour With Whitehouse

No parades, colonels, cubs, supers, peanut butter, AIDS, or Patricks here. Just eyes and a whole lotta effects pedals. Michigan noize gods Wolf Eyes are headed back out on tour, set to terrorize the eastern portion of North America as well as Europe and the UK this spring. Along the way, they'll receive a hero's welcome at the noize orgy known as the No Fun Fest in Brooklyn in March, and join the likes of Mogwai, Silver Jews, and Coldcut at Scotland's Triptych Festival in April.

At several of the American shows, John Olson and co. will be joined by the pioneering British power electronics outfit Whitehouse. They make Wolf Eyes seem like Simpering Little Puppy Eyes.

After parting ways with Wolf Eyes, Whitehouse will burn minds on their own time, with shows in America (including several SXSW appearances) and the UK. They're touring in support of their latest album, Asceticists, which was released yesterday on their own Susan Lawly label. Aww, how romantic-- a new Whitehouse record on Valentine's Day.

Oh yeah, they're also playing a show with AIDS Wolf on February 19 in Wales. Think we're gonna make a joke about it? You thought wrong.
