Pitchfork: Voxtrot to Release Second EP

In the real world, springtime means birds buzzing and babies getting popped out. In our world, it means bands buzzing and music getting popped out. Fertile cardigan-pop band Voxtrot will celebrate the season with their sophomore EP, Mothers, Sisters, Daughters & Wives. The sequel to last fall's Raised by Wolves EP arrives in stores April 4 on the band's own label, Cult Hero.

Yes, of course they are touring in support of the EP. Duh. In fact, the extensive string of shows starts this very evening in Dallas. It ends two months later in their hometown of Austin, with a stopover in between at SXSW (also in Austin, just in case you didn't know by now). The trek is so long that their sweet pop might evolve into paranoid, depressing ambient jams by the time April rolls around.
