Pitchfork: Jason Forrest Schedules First U.S. Tour

For the love of Donna Summer! As indietronica's official disco queen, Jason Forrest was responsible for many a breakbeat-induced booty shake in Europe last summer. However, save for a few select parties, (including Pitchfork's own sex- and drug-crazed 10th Anniversary bash on New Year's Eve), Forrest has yet to embark on a proper tour of these United States.

But much like Elton John's credibility, those days are history. Beginning in March, Forrest, still in quasi-support of his 2005 album Shamelessly Exciting, will embark on his first full-on North American tour. He'll most likely be joined on most nights by Cock Rock Disco cronies (and fellow copyright-infringers-in-waiting) Duran Duran Duran.

Those planning to attend the shows should be warned that standing too close to Mr. Forrest could result in getting one's face licked. Several Pitchfork staffers learned this the hard way.
