Tom Vek Rocks "The O.C.", Releases iTunes EP

British garage-funk phenom Tom Vek will perform tonight on "The O.C.", so if you're a fictional teenage hipster from southern California, you should swing by and check it out. If you're real person, tune in to Fox to watch Vek serenade Seth, Summer, Marissa, Ryan, and a bunch of stylish and attractive extras with "I Ain't Saying My Goodbyes" off of his debut album, 2005's We Have Sound.

Vek's official website assures us that an "important plot development unfolds" whilst he rocks. We hope Alex comes back, we liked her.

For the rest of us at home, some vekcellent (sorry) treats await us at iTunes, as a veksclusive (I can't stop!) EP was recently released. It features a Paul Epworth remix of Sound's "Nothing but Green Lights" as well as two tracks previously unavailable in the U.S.

Finally, according to his website, Vek is back in the studio in England recording the follow-up to We Have Sound. There is absolutely no indication as we go to press that the new LP will be called either Vekscalibur or Vekscuse Me While I Kiss the Sky, but that doesn't make the possibility any less vekciting, now does it?
