Futureheads, Art Brut, Chin Up Chin Up Added to Pitchfork Music Festival Lineup

From near and far, they're flocking to the Pitchfork Music Festival, taking place July 29 and 30 in Chicago's Union Park. We're pleased to announce that British bands the Futureheads and Art Brut will make the Trans-Atlantic flight to play our summer shindig, while local Chicago favorites Chin Up Chin Up will simply hop the L to get their rock on.

(Yeah, that Art Brut announcement was reaaal surprising, wasn't it?)

Here's the updated lineup:

July 29:

July 30:

Of course, much, much more will be added in the coming weeks, including the lineup for a third stage featuring a diverse range of hip-hop, experimental, electronic, jazz, and dance acts. Stay tuned to Pitchfork for updates.

TICKETS are on sale now, and at $20 a pop (or just $30 for a limited number of two-day pass), can you seriously pass this up? Didn't think so.

With tickets so cheap, you can save plenty of money to spend at the Chicago-based independent community radio station WLUW's record fair, as well as at local creative merchants DEPART-ment's craft and clothing fair, which will both hold court at the festival.
