Low, Okkervil River Play Texas Fest This Weekend

SXSW isn't the only action to be had in Texas during the spring. With festival season soon to be fully under way, keeping straight of which bands are playing where will become a lot trickier. Adding on to the confusion will be the Wall of Sound Festival in Forth Worth.

Taking place this Saturday and Sunday at the Ridglea Theater, the festival features 88 local, regional, and national artists performing on three stages. Headlining day one will be slo-core vets turned riff gods Low, and headlining day two will be Austin-based lit-rockers Okkervil River. Other acts include Pedro the Lion's David Bazan, the New Year, Starflyer 59, Starlight Mints, the Deathray Davies, the Octopus Project, Midlake, and Knife in the Water. Check out the Wall of Sound website for the full lineup.

The festival is all ages and better yet, it provides free parking. You just can't beat that.
