Pitchfork: Bright Eyes Announces Canadian Dates

Canada is in dire need of some emotional introspection and political outrospection, and Conor Oberst is ready to deliver. This June, Oberst and his Bright Eyes mates will make a short trek across the Great White North, which will end back home in the States for Bonnaroo and a homecoming show in Omaha, Nebraska. Gruff Rhys of Welsh crazies Super Furry Animals will open all of the Canadian shows.

For the non-Canadian and TenneBraskans out there, the next Bright Eyes blip on the radar is their currently slated spring 2007 release.
