Mogwai Launch Tour, Prep New Single

Charge up those camera phones, bring a tape recorder, and hell, grab a net just in case, for it is once again time to follow the beast. After bursting some ear drums at Coachella on Sunday, Mogwai are revving up the tour bus and hitting Interstate pavement for the second time this year.

The Scots will rock the first official gig of this run tonight in Salt Lake City. Once again, fans can track Mogwai's progress through pictures, video clips, and even favorite points of interest on the band's tour blog/map/so much more site Follow the Beast.

After wrapping up the North American portion of this trek, Mogwai will play scattered performances (most of them at festivals) throughout Europe during the summer, including a stint at Singapore's famous Esplanade Theatre.
