Excepter Hit the Road in Advance of New LP

Excepter will be staging its "Hurricane Tour" around the U.S. during the month of May, kicking off tonight in Philly. After a quick healing respite, the band will make a summer appearance in Montreal at the annual Suoni Per Il Popolo Festival on June 23. The month-long concert series embraces vanguard artists expressing "Liberation music" which, according to the organizers, "includes but is not limited to free jazz, noise, electronica, turntable art, soundscapes, experimental rock, musique actuelle and spoken word." C'est tout fuckée, as French-Canadians rarely say.
