The Hold Steady Announce Summer Tour

The Hold Steady have announced their first full-fledged tour as Vagrant Records signees, and though it isn't exactly a Vagrant Across America trek, it's still hitting some appropriately punk rock venues, like the Chameleon Club in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Mohawk Place in Buffalo.

The adventure doesn't start until late July, hopefully allotting the band enough time to finish the new album they're currently pumping out in a Hoboken, New Jersey studio. According to a post on the Hold Steady's website, they're scheduled to head back to Brooklyn next week, to finish the album's vocals and overdubs at Atomic Recording Company.

Guitarist Tad Kubler writes, "Day 5 of the new record. Banging this shit out. Things have been going awesome." Heck yeah.

There are 15 songs in the works, including "Stuck Between Stations", "Same Kooks", "Hot Soft Light", and "Massive Nights", which, as previously reported, have seen live audiences already. So expect more previews at these shows:
