The Spinto Band Tours With Dr. Dog, Lovely Feathers

Delaware indie pop young'uns the Spinto Band are prepping to take their show, kazoos and all, on the road this June. And it's not summer vacation this time: The boys are finally out of college and ready to face the music biz full-time.

The tour will take the sextet around the Eastern half of the U.S., alongside Dr. Dog and Lovely Feathers. Later, they'll hit scattered festivals across Europe, as well as Japan's Fuji Rock Festival. One date that we haven't been able to pin down details for only grants admission to select contest winners. The entry form linked from the Spinto Band's website reveals that the gig will take place on May 25 at "a bizarre underground snooker hall beneath Centrepoint in Central London," but that's all they're saying.

The performance is in celebration of the upcoming vinyl UK release of the band's debut album, Nice and Nicely Done, due May 29 via Radiate Records. The LP doubles as a stamp book, the purpose of which is to be packed with the oversized collectible stamp stickers found "on the venue walls, on the merch stall, littering the floor or even stuck to your own back if you have hilarious prankster fans," at the group's recently wrapped up string of European stints. Ah, you guys!
