Tapes 'n Tapes' "Insistor' video is the most recent in a long line of silent film-inspired clips, a list that includes Smashing Pumpkins' "Tonight, Tonight", Stone Temple Pilots' "Interstate Love Song", and, um, 'N Sync's "Gone".

Similarities aside, Tapes 'n Tapes take their inspiration from Dr. Caligari and German silent film more than, say, Charlie Chaplin, so they make up in visuals what they lack in sweet JT vocal runs.
