Pitchfork: Clientele Announce U.S. Tour

So you're watching the Sandra Bullock/Keanu Reeves time-travel/architecture/romance flick The Lake House, and midway through the movie, right before Keanu tells Sandra that their lake house can't slow down below 50 mphs or the house will explode, your ears perk up as you say, "Hey, they're playing the Clientele!"

While the band didn't have anything to do with the film's weird time-traveling mailbox metaphysics, their song "I Can't Seem to Make You Mine", from the album Strange Geometry, does pop up in the film and on the soundtrack. Now that the Clientele have endeared themselves to all the Keanu and Sandra fans in America, the band is heading back to our shores later this summer.

Before the Clientele rock Philly's First Unitarian Church on the first date of the trek in August, they have one date at a London bowling alley scheduled for July.
