Video: Lansing-Dreiden: "A Line You Can Cross"

L-D Section II

Lansing-Dreiden are like that kid in your high school English class who was always mumbling something about Platonic forms from behind his overlong bangs during discussion of a Steinbeck novel. That is, you sometimes just want to shake them while screaming, "You're not so mysterious, dude. Check yourself!" Unlike that guy, however, Lansing-Dreiden have some redeeming qualities, namely their music. It's actually kind of good.

And in the video for their song "A Line You Can Cross", from their recent album The Dividing Island, the band are parting their bangs a bit to let us take a look at their faces, or at least the faces of L-D Section II, the group currently touring behind The Dividing Island.

We're not exactly sure of the overlap between Lansing-Dreiden and L-D Section II, but after having seen the video, we know that the latter group look more than a little like Milli Vanilli fronting Nirvana, especially with all that smoke.

Don't forget, L-D Section II will be finishing up a mini-tour of the U.S. tomorrow at New York's Bowery Ballroom, where they'll be playing with Grizzly Bear.
