Stream: The Black Keys: Four New Songs

With their Nonesuch debut Magic Potion (featuring a pretty cool-looking upside-down Faberge egg on the cover) set for a September 12 release, and a stint opening for Radiohead earlier this summer, the Black Keys are having a pretty good year.

Now, they're finally giving us a taste of the new album by streaming four tracks from their MySpace page. (Two of them are also available as downloadable streams; see the links below.)

"Your Touch" and "Just Got to Be" continue the dirty blues riffing tradition for which the band is known, and "You're the One" is the slow jam, featuring guitarist/vocalist Dan Auerbach's slightly hoarse come-ons. "Strange Desire" takes an atmospheric approach to the Hendrix-style classic rock jam, minus the mind-melting solos and the whole overdosing thing.

As previously reported, the Keys begin their album-supporting world tour-- including dates with Pearl Jam-- on September 6 at the Showbox in Seattle.
