Radiohead Get Crunk on Skeet Spirit
Just when you thought there couldn't possibly be a new way to reinterpret Radiohead songs, DJ GYNGYVYTUS comes along with Skeet Spirit: A Crunk Tribute to Radiohead.
Say wha?!!
Yes, it's real, and it's also totally free. Featuring titles such as "Fitter, Hyphier (Intro)" and "Creepin' (On Dat Ass)", Skeet Spirit takes the most recognizable parts of eight R-to-da-head songs and makes them the crunk versions' hooks. It's simultaneously fun and nowhere near as cool or complicated as it could be, although "The National Headbustaz Anthem" is totally great. But alas, there are no MCs on these tracks aside from the occasional ad-libs, so still no evidence that E-40 loves Radiohead (but you know he does!)
Skeet Spirit's full tracklist is listed after the jump. As always, we will keep you up-to-date not only on everything Radiohead do but pretty much everything their fans do as well. Stay tuned for True Love Waits: A Christian Tribute to Radiohead, a Rock For Life production. (That one's just a joke...for now.)
