Tonight in Vancouver, Silver Jew David Berman and his now-veteran touring band (they've played, what, like 50 shows by now?) kick off a brief run down the West Coast. On Friday, they play in Portland with Stephen Malkmus-- I smell a collaboration!

Then the Joos take three-and-a-half months off before playing a couple of New Year's shows on the East Coast. Or they'll just surprise us and announce a massive cross-country trek in between.
