Things you can get these days for five dollars: half a sandwich, a seven-inch (+ shipping), neon shoelaces, a comic book, a couple bus rides-- or admission to a gig featuring Ian MacKaye and Amy Farina's the Evens! The duo celebrates the previously reported November 6 release of sophomore statement The Evens Get Evens by taking to the road, beginning tonight in Pittsburgh. Best of all: every show is all ages and $5 (or less).

Fans are advised to arrive early, as the Evens will be the only band playing, and they'll take to the stage around 8pm for most shows. And since these gigs are going down in some fairly unconventional spaces, you may have a tough time finding all the relevant infos-- graciously the good folks at Dischord have rounded up the necessary links here.
