Sean Lennon Commences Tour, Shares Lavish Video

Having a rad dad-- and a mom that's da bomb-- sure must be neat. You're born famous, you've got some of ma and pop's talent already flowing through your veins, and you get to make lavish, ridiculous music videos with all kinds of hotties-- the truth of the last claim depending, of course, on your definition of the word "hottie."

Semantics aside, however, Sean Lennon, son of a certain famous couple we needn't name here, launches his tour of the U.S. and Canada this weekend in New York City. He'll be joined by Britain's Jim Noir for most dates. Lennon, who knows well what haste makes, hit us recently with only his second album in nearly ten years: Friendly Fire, on Capitol, a two-disc multimedia set that includes a short film for every single song.

Check out the music video for Friendly Fire's first track "Dead Meat" below. A press release distinguishes this version as the "Modesty Cut", and we can only imagine how absurd and overblown the "Immodest High-Concept Post-Hollywood Cut" is. But a flying Gravitron!? Too cool!
