Opeth Release Special Edition of Ghost Reveries, Tour
There is, however, one band cashing in on the potential of this second dark day of release: the mighty Opeth. Today, Roadrunner Records released a "special edition" of last year's Ghost Reveries, complete with a cover of Deep Purple's "Soldier of Fortune" as a bonus track and an accompanying DVD. The DVD features a 5.1 surround sound mix of the album, a 40-minute making-of-the-album documentary, and the director's cut video for Ghost Reveries' first single, "The Grand Conjuration".
If you go to the record store now, you'll still have time to buy a bunch of copies of Ghost Reveries (Special Edition) to give to trick-or-treaters in place of candy. Even if they don't like metal, it's way better than those peanut butter pieces of crap.
Opeth begin a mammoth fall tour November 5 at Portsmouth, England's Pyramid, hitting places all over the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, and Italy in the process.
