Black Keys Schedule More Dates, Share Video
The Black Keys won't be returning home to Akron, Ohio any time soon. Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney have extended their lengthy bi-continental trek, which kicked off in September in support of their Nonesuch debut, Magic Potion, and, yeah, never really stopped.
Since we last reported, the pair has tacked on a slew of new shows: a string of U.S. dates running from tonight through mid-December, and an early 2007 European tour.
In addition, the Black Keys recently released the video for the Magic Potion track "Your Touch", and the mysterious ornate egg on the album's cover plays a leading role. Auerbach and Carney explode, die, turn into ghosts, and discuss lip-synching in a spoken interlude (not in the original track)...all while a creepy kid scrambles around town, showing off his MP egg to citizens who subsequently throw sunny-side up.
