Lupe Fiasco Announces Lengthy Tour
No need to travel far for ace hip hop this year (or next)-- Lupe Fiasco is coming to you, wherever you may be. In addition to visiting the Australia/New Zealand area for Big Day Out this January, Fiasco is hitting the East Coast, the West Coast, Japan, Lollapalooza and Indio, California for Coachella between now and next August. He'll even support the Roots for a string of shows. Fella's got big dreams, people.
And really, it makes sense that Fiasco's in such high demand, as the rapper was just today nominated for-- count 'em-- three Grammys, in the categories of Best Rap Solo Performance ("Kick, Push"), Best Rap Song ("Kick, Push"), and Best Rap Album (Food & Liquor). He's up against the Roots in the latter category, and Grammy night is right during their tour. That could get awkward!
