Dismemberment Plan Add Second Reunion Show

Dismemberment Plan Add Second Reunion Show Friday was a tense day at Pitchfork HQ, as a few of us braced ourselves for the stress of constantly refreshing the Ticketmaster website around 5 p.m. EST to ensure that we got tickets to the Dismemberment Plan's recently announced reunion at a Washington, D.C. benefit concert for Callum Robbins.

It turns out our anxieties were well founded, as tickets to the show sold out in a scant three or four minutes.

Those who weren't quick enough on the draw, however, may have a second chance. The Washington Post's entertainment blog, Going Out Gurus, reports that the band will play another reunion show/benefit on April 27. Like the April 28 show, it will be at the Black Cat. Plan frontman Travis Morrison, who works for the Post as a programmer, confirmed the information.
