Daft Punk, Hot Chip, CSS on Spank Rock Fabric Mix
Plus: Bonde do Role, Simian Mobile Disco, Tangerine Dream, Mylo, Kano, Miss Kittin...and Yes
Day or night, them Spank Rock boys sure know how to get the party started, so it comes as no surprise that London's legendary Fabric nightclub and imprint has tapped the Baltimore crew for its latest FABRICLIVE mix.
The potty-mouthed sweet-talkers join the ranks of like-minded partystarter Diplo, as well as John Peel, Cut Copy, Death in Vegas, Jacques Lu Cont, and more when they deliver FABRICLIVE.33 on April 16 in the UK and April 24 in the U.S. Lucky members of the Fabricfirst VIP club can get the pre-party started on April 3.
Spank Rock's FABRICLIVE.33 collects 27 eclectic, fairly well-known, and-- most of all-- fun tunes, from club bangers like Daft Punk's "Technologic", Mylo's "Drop the Pressure", and Simian Mobile Disco's "Hustler", to ironic favorites like Yes's "Owner of a Lonely Heart" and Rick Ross' "Hustlin'". Repping their own, the boys also include a Spank Rock remix of CSS and a pair of Armani XXXChange edits.
Indeed, Spank Rock even specially designed their mix to run into Diplo's FABRICLIVE.24 set-- although by the time that starts up, you'll already be passed out in the broom closet. \m/
As previously reported, Spank Rock play Coachella on April 29 and Primavera Sound in late May/early June.
