Neil Young Releases Second Archival Live Album

Neil Young will release Live at Massey Hall on March 13. It is the second record in Reprise's Neil Young Archives Performance Series, which includes last year's Live at the Fillmore East.

He calls the recording-- of a 1971 concert in Toronto-- "the album that should have come out between After the Gold Rush and Harvest" in a press release. Appropriately, Massey Hall's song selection borrows heavily from both of those career high points. The album comes with a DVD of the entire performance except for three songs.

Both Massey Hall and Fillmore East are part of a larger project, which includes the release of the eight-CD, two-DVD Archives Volume I. The box will include Young's output from 1963 to 1972 and will feature previously unreleased studio and live recordings, concert footage, and rare memorabilia.
