Horrors, BRMC Team Up for North American Tour
Starting tonight in Liverpool, the Horrors-- this year's winner of the coveted "Best Band to Crank While Sporting Nylons On Your Arms" award-- will bring three solid months of their spooky Buzzcocks-meets-gloomrock sound to scaremongers on both sides of the Atlantic.
Striking out on their own through mid-May, they'll hop a jet to Boise to link up with fellow fans of the dark stuff Black Rebel Motorcycle Club for a slew of North American dates. Hey, whatever happened to their rock'n'roll?
Nothing, as it turns out; come May Day, the boys in black 'n' leather will unleash Baby 81, the follow-up to 2005’s Howl. Wait, Baby 81? Seriously, guys, get a vasectomy already.
As it turns out, BRMC aren't the only ones with a new record to scare up support for. The Horrors dropped Strange House earlier this month in their merry olde homeland, though it won't be available to American fright-fans until May 15. Hey, the same day they step in for the Fratellis on the BRMC tour! How convenient. Maybe too convenient.
