Prinzhorn Dance School Open for LCD Again

I suppose it's possible recent DFA signees Prinzhorn Dance School aren't as good as "You are the Space Invader" and "Eat, Sleep" make 'em out to be; I mean, if all I knew of Bell Biv DeVoe was "Poison" and "Do Me," I'd probably freak on them, too.

But not only are Prinzhorn's throbbing tracks slammin', Prinzhorn fan/label-head James Murphy's no dummy in the taste department (plus, the last record he twisted the dials on was pretty fly), which should allay any fears of letdown.

Murphy's called upon Prinzhorn to warm up for the North American leg of his LCD Soundsystem tour, kicking off the night after Coachella at San Francisco's Mezzanine. (They opened for them in the UK last month, too.) It's a friendly gesture on LCD's, for sure, but Murph-dog'd better look alive: Prinzhorn arguably do Mark E. Smith better than even "North American Scum" manages.
