Cat Power Powers Up Tour With July Dates
Unless you're big on schadenfreude, the new, freak-out-free Cat Power live thing can only be seen as an improvement; gone are the risks of dropping cold cash on fifteen minutes of bitter words and saltier tears, replaced instead by syrupy country-soul from the lovely Ms. Marshall and her band of Dirty Delta Blues-men. Fair trade, huh?
After her previously-reported late-spring dates kicking off later this month with a pair of Marshall solo stints and a festival, Cat Power and company will hit the road in early July for a run-up to the Pitchfork Music Festival. I'm excited. You're excited. We're all excited.
