Sporting some slick spectacles, Death Cabbie and Postal Servant Ben Gibbard dropped by the Boston area's Somerville Theatre last night to showcase his solo stylings. The austere theatre setting kept the audience mum for most of Gibbard's set, prompting Ben to comment several times how eerily quiet it was. Perhaps this gig could have benefited from a stage-crashing drunkard and a Tweedy-inspired beatdown?

Gibbard's solo trek continues tonight in New York City.
