It's been a spell since we've heard much from the family Friedberger, but the jagged-edged popmakers in the Fiery Furnaces haven't forgotten about us.

Not only does their website offer a few typically cryptic notes on the progress of their forthcoming fifth record, but they'll sip their last bedsit-brewed bitter tea before setting off on a just-announced string of dates in June. On June 26, they'll hit the previously reported Capital Idea! Fest in Ottawa.
