Forget the whole vs. thing-- everybody won this past weekend at All Tomorrow's Parties' latest and most ambitious soirée to date. ATP Versus... You (The Fans) gathered a dream bill culled from across the musical landscape, including seasoned vets (Patti Smith, Echo & the Bunnymen), indie hallmarks (Yo La Tengo, Built to Spill, Wilco, Modest Mouse, Mogwai), live favorites (Les Savy Fav, the Go! Team, Band of Horses) and even a few gems you're not likely to see on many other festival bills (Current 93, Ghost, Shellac). The result? All killer, no filler.

Photos of the aforementioned lie ahead, plus Slint, Grizzly Bear, the Books, the Notwist, Daniel Johnston, Isis, Do Make Say Think, Cornelius, Clinic, Sparklehorse, Okkervil River, Architecture in Helsinki, Brightblack Morning Light, Annuals, the Apples in Stereo, Trans Am, Akron/Family, Why?, Death Vessel, Tall Firs, Micah P. Hinson, 65daysofstatic, Youthmovies, Alexander Tucker, Subtle, and Subtitle.

And ATP certainly isn't stopping there. Just yesterday we reported that Portishead will be curating this winter's Nightmare Before Christmas event. And of course there's the opening night of the 2007 Pitchfork Music Festival, an ATP/Don't Look Back event featuring Sonic Youth, GZA/Genius, and Slint.
