Pitchfork Music Festival Reveals Final 07 Lineup!
So, that's it for this week's Pitchfork news updates. But before we fire up the grill for Memorial Day weekend, we've got one last fish to fry: Ladies and gents, boys and girls, wizards and warriors, Pitchfork is pleased to announce...THE FINAL LINEUP OF THE 2007 PITCHFORK MUSIC FESTIVAL, popping off at Chicago's Union Park July 13-15.
We've already announced Sonic Youth rocking the entirety of Daydream Nation, GZA/Genius performing Liquid Swords, and Slint doing Spiderland. You also heard about Yoko Ono, De La Soul, Cat Power and Dirty Delta Blues, the New Pornographers, Clipse, Iron & Wine, Of Montreal, Stephen Malkmus, Battles, Jamie Lidell, the Sea and Cake, Girl Talk, Grizzly Bear, Deerhunter, Klaxons, and all the rest.
Now we have the final additions. And they are...
Reigning metal majordomos Mastodon! Glossed-out electro-pop giants Junior Boys! Deft indie janglers Voxtrot! Techno maestro the Field! Laser-tongued MC Cadence Weapon (aka ex-Pitchfork scribe Rollie Pemberton, full disclosure fans)! Swamp-psych duo Brightblack Morning Light! Jazz envelope-pushers William Parker Quartet! And rising Chicago rap duo the Cool Kids!

Tickets are still on sale at Ticketweb-- but act fast, as individual Friday night passes (a paltry $15) are nearly sold out! Once those are gone, you're left with three-day passes at $50, individual passes for Saturday and Sunday at $25, or the Saturday/Sunday pass, which will run you $35. Still an unbeatable deal, if you don't mind our saying so.
