Talkdemonic Kick Off Tour With the National

Already recording the follow-up to last year's Beat Romantic, Portland duo Talkdemonic will take their electronic-acoustic hybrid act on the road this summer to give audiences a taste of the new material. The tour begins June 2 in Missoula, Montana, and about half of the dates are in support of the National.
Talkdewhositnow? Oh yeah, the band that features Lisa Molinaro, violist/vocalist on the Decemberists' last tour, as well as the co-star of the "O Valencia!" video (both regular and director's cut versions).
Talkdemonic have also signed a UK deal with Tangled Up Recordings to release Beat Romantic there on August 13. The UK version of the album will come expanded with a cover of Brian Eno's "Sombre Reptiles" and the video for "Mountain Cats", directed by Jeremy Johnstone of Rockadee Productions.
