Peter Bjorn & John, Polyphonic Spree in SXSW Film

Peter Bjorn & John and the Polyphonic Spree (as well as, um, the Bravery and Rocco Deluca) will appear on the big screen this summer, as sets from this year's South by Southwest festival will be featured in an upcoming Bigger Picture film that will debut in Boston, Nashville, Dallas, and Fort Worth on June 14.

The two-hour collection of performance and behind-the-scenes footage is the first film in the South By Southwest Concert Series.

Members of the Polyphonic Spree will appear at the Dallas and Forth Worth screenings to "sign autographs and speak," according to a press release. We imagine a Polyphonic Spree speaking engagement to be something like an enormous Thanksgiving dinner in terms of how well audience members will be able to hear any individual person trying to talk.

All four screenings are in advance of a nationwide run of six concert programs in the series, which will take place in the fall and include SXSW performances from... drum roll please... Razorlight, Ozomatli, Bowling for Soup, and Brandi Carlile!

The venues for the June 14 screenings are Showcase Cinemas Revere (Boston), Thoroughbred 20 (Nashville), West Village's Magnolia Theatre (Dallas), and Rave Ridgmar (Ft. Worth).
