The National to Rock NPR Tomorrow
Stay up kinda late tomorrow night-- 10 PM EST or thereabouts, to be somewhat precise. That's when our own National Public Radio will broadcast Porkopolis ex-pats the National's set at Washington, DC's 9:30 Club via their online concert series. One might say, for a time, it's going to be the National's Public Radio! Actually, one probably shouldn't say that.
Those of you with big plans on the morrow can save your live online National fun for any time in the future, as the show will be archived on NPR's website. And those of you who want nothing to do with all that Capitol City bureaucracy and red tape can check out the National sans the impersonal sheen of streaming technology at any one (or several!) of their upcoming tour dates, listed for your convenience below.
NPR will also broadcast Richard Thompson's show at the 9:30 Club on June 22.
