Ponytail Provide New Look for Battles Tour
Faux-hawk inexplicably hangs on for longest, saddest run of dates ever

If anyone could coax Battles gent Tyondai Braxton's cavalcade of curls into a scrunchie, it'd be bonkers Baltimoreans (and recent Monitor Records signees) Ponytail.

The Charm City spazzmakers will link up with the math blasters of Battles for a couple hairy weeks as June turns to July. Hopefully they'll get Mr. Braxton working the Topsy Tail by the time his battle-scarred bunch finds their way to the Pitchfork Music Festival, that rad gathering of bands and fans we just can't stop telling you about.

As for Ponytail, they play a Battles-free gig tonight (June 20) and continue on after all the tumult that comes with Battles for a string of dates through the rest of July.
