In the midst of doing the European festival rounds surrounding this week's UK release of their sophomore album, An End Has a Start (Kitchenware/Sony BMG), Editors have plotted out a North American tour for the fall.
Those dates begin September 4 in D.C., but the band still has plenty of shows to play this summer, continuing this coming weekend in Belfort, France.
An End will hit U.S. stores on July 17 via Kitchenware/FADER/Epic, but first, the quartet will release the "Smokers Outside the Hospital Doors" single with B-sides "An Eye for an Eye" and "The Picture" in the U.S. today (June 26). Also out today, an iTunes release of a three-song EP including "Smokers", "Bones", and "Push Your Head Towards the Air".
Finally, Editors will appear on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on July 26 with a special outdoor performance.
