The Beastie Boys Expand Summer Tour
Mike D, MCA, and Adrock have expanded their previously reported world tour with a couple more festival dates and a healthy heaping of U.S. club gigs, most of which stand out on the Beastie Boys' schedule because of the "(instrumental show)" tag.
Though they will largely consist of instrumental material (including songs from their latest album, The Mix-Up, which came out today), these shows don't necessarily preclude songs with vocals, according to various reports. The concerts mostly serve as chances to see Le Beasties in a more intimate environment, i.e. at somewhere other than an enormous festival you'd have to fly to Poland to attend (no offense, Heineken Open'er!).
