The "as-yet-untitled EP" Gang Gang Dance's Brian DeGraw revealed to Pitchfork in our most recent interview with him now has a title and a release date.

The Social Registry will release the RAWWAR EP in digital, CD, and LP formats on September 11; the vinyl comes in the form of a 12" limited edition picture disc with six panel foldout artwork. Nice! Young Turks/XL Recordings will have the RAWWAR hookup outside North America.

The EP will be the band's first release of purely auditory new music (the recently issued Retina Riddim CD/DVD being an audio-visual spectacle) since 2005's God's Money LP. GGD are presently laboring in earnest on the follow-up to said record.
