Future of the Left Prep Debut for Fall, Tour UK

Future of the Left Prep Debut for Fall, Tour UK Future of the Left have already risen Phoenix-like from the ashes of Mclusky, and now the band will cement its status as Wales' most ferocious national export with the release of its first full-length, Curses.

In a post on the band's MySpace blog, lead Leftist Andrew Falkous carefully describes the album: "It's 37 minutes and 13 seconds long, an Aries, and enjoys long country walks, alfresco bathing and revenge." What's not to love?

Curses' tracklist is below, and it's full of songs that have been around in various incarnations since the band's introduction to the public via MySpace last year.

Falkous also vaguely but enthusiastically answers our other potential questions: "When will it come out? As soon as possible. When will we tour? Even sooner than possible. When is my next dentist appointment? In two months time."

Thanks to FOTL's label, Too Pure, we have some even better answers to those first two questions: October 9 (in the U.S.), and in September (with a pair of London shows this month).

Thanks to reader Shan Corrigan for the tip.
