Andrew Bird Just Keeps Touring
Andrew Bird: rambler, gambler, vagabond? Or just a guy who likes being driven around and watching DVDs all day? Our friend Andrew simply cannot stop touring behind this spring's fine Armchair Apocrypha disc, and we're beginning to wonder if he's less into playing the soft rock for his fans, or if he just can't bear the thought of leaving all those tourbus singalongs and late-night White Castle runs behind.
Whatever his motives, Andrew has set himself up for a tour-heavy fall to follow an already bloated summer, where he'll sample the finest rest areas and fast food restaurants the U.S. and Canada have to offer. Before he's done (if he's ever done!), he'll pal around with Janet Reno on that strangely fascinating compilation she's putting together, and obscure himself in Fog.
Oh, and a little birdy tells us tomorrow is Andrew's big 3-5. Happy birthday, Birdman!
