Suicide's Alan Vega, Recoil Issue New Mute LPs

Suicide's Alan Vega, Recoil Issue New Mute LPs On July 31, Mute Records is set to issue two albums from a pair of gloomy scene veterans. Suicide's Alan Vega brings U.S. audiences to Station, his tenth solo LP, for which he handled all the instrumental duties. Station features such feel-good future classics as "Gun God Game" and "Psychopatha", both in line with his twee-leaning past (kidding!).

Ex-Depeche Mode keyboardist Alan Wilder-- as Recoil-- brings you subHuman, a collaboration of sorts between Wilder, vocalist Carla Trevaskis, and bluesman Joe Richardson. The album comes nearly 20 years after Recoil's debut LP, Hydrology. We're guessing the name Recoil sounded a lot less nü-metal 20 years ago, which, in a way, makes Wilder quite the musical innovator. Thanks, guy.
