Pinback Add Limited Edition EP to New Album
Gettin' all pumped for back to school? Got your Hannah Montana backpack picked out, your semester's worth of Easy Mac propping up your boombox, your toesocks all laid out and ready to go? Good, good.
But you've forgotten one thing: pre-ordering the by-default album of the fall, Pinback's Autumn of the Seraphs. It's out September 11 on Touch and Go (the day before, should you be Cambridge-bound); the perfect time for those clumsy dorm mail-handlers to crack the hell out of its casing while indelicately stuffing it in your tiny mailbox. Ah, the manifold joys of higher education.
And, hey, while you're out delighting in your first taste of jungle juice and sharing a bathroom with forty of your closest fellow pukers, Pinback are making your Autumn just a little sweeter. The first pressing of both the CD and LP versions of Autumn of the Seraphs will come with a bonus disc, featuring three unreleased tracks, two of which come from the Autumn sessions. It's enough to offset your slipping grades and your new roommate's shower-optional philosophy.
And Pinback have added a few new dates to their tour, too! School spirit!
