Those crazy Brits! First I hear they don't really do much for the 4th of July, and now they're throwing a Halloween party two days into November. But calendar difficulties aside (most likely due to Halloween 2007 falling, lamely, on a Wednesday), they're way on point when it comes to providing top-notch spooks for your all Hallow's, uh, hangover.

The truly frightening lineup for All Tomorrow's Parties' first annual Release the Bats Halloween party includes Liars, Deerhoof, Deerhunter, Black Lips, and Fuck Buttons. All the fright-filled noise-rock and sweaty garage-punk will go down at London's Forum November 2. Sure, you'll still be sick off Kit Kats and razor-filled apples, but so too will Angus, Satomi and the rest; and they'll be in costume! I mean, can you picture Bradford Cox wearing something out of the ordinary?
