Animal Collective Squeeze in More Dates
Panda Bear DVD now available
With Strawberry Jam set for a September 11 release via Domino (the day before in the UK) and its first single, "Peacebone", coming out on August 21 (August 13 in the UK), there's not much for Animal Collective to do right now but wriggle their thumbs in anticipation of their North American tour this fall.
It's productive wriggling, though, since the band has added a Panda Bear-sized three dates to the tour since our last report. Oberlin, El Paso, and Norman: you'll get yours. AC have also shed more light on the openers for the tour, including the previously alluded-to slots filled by Black Dice's Eric Copeland and Wizard Prison, as well as support from Philly's Tickley Feather.
Finally, the free Panda Bear live DVD we previously reported is now available for order, and you can get one for yourself here. Thanks to a whole bunch of readers for the heads up.
