Black Moth Super Rainbow Reissue Early Material

Did your Dandelion Gum lose its flavor on the bedpost overnight? Fear not, psych-o! Black Moth Super Rainbow, those on-the-rise Pennsylvanian popsters, are letting fans run loose like kids in a candy shop through their tasty back catalog and reissuing their first two little-heard releases. Dee-lish!

There's 2003's Falling Through a Field, which gathers four-track and sampler recordings of future Black Moth favorites in their infancy, and 2004's Start a People, which shows off the band's fixation with the sounds of PBS television (think more "3-2-1 Contact", not "Wishbone"). Both arrive complete with bonus tracks October 23 from Graveface.

And that's not all! Black Moth bassist Power Pill Fist's second solo album KONGMANIVONG is out this month on Graveface, and band leader Tobacco has a new DVD, entitled Fucked Up Friends, with a dozen new compositions set to visuals. Perhaps you saw the too-hot-for-YouTube "Hairy Candy" on the dare-to-bare Forkcast?

But wait, there's more! Black Moth Super Rainbow are touring with Flaming Lips, Aesop Rock, and their own bad selves throughout the fall.
