Iron & Wine Kick Off Tour With Califone
Iron & Wine may be out of the Reins with Calexico, but Sam Beam and company are all set to saddle up with that other "Cal" band, Califone. The likeminded soundscape-y folk acts kick off their joint U.S. tour tonight (April 9) in New Orleans.
Outside of the tour, all is pretty quiet on the Califone front, but Iron & Wine have plenty more shows following in May and June.
